Celebrating employee achievement at Automated Packaging Systems

Rewarding employee achievements is a key part of the culture at Automated Packaging Systems and each year we host our own awards dinner and presentation to honour our long-serving staff members and celebrate the hard work and efforts of the team.

Employees are crucial to a business’ success and recognising long-service milestones enables us to formally say thank you for their contribution towards our development and achievements.

Family is at the heart of Automated Packaging Systems’ ethos and there’s many staff members that have been part of the team for a number of years and we recognise how much value this brings to our organisation and our future growth.

Our US parent has held events recognising employee milestones for many years and the first ceremony in Europe took place 25 years ago in 1993. These events are a good way to boost employee morale and motivation, and each year we have around 80-100 guests in attendance, including members on our US board.

Until recently, Automated Packaging Systems’ founders, Hershey and Bernie Lerner would make the trip across the Atlantic to be present, and for 12 years, company president, Cliff Brehm, as well as members of the leadership team, have been present to celebrate employee achievements across all areas of the business.

Below is a list of the categories and winners from this year’s event, hosted at Stanbrook Abbey in Worcestershire on 18th May.

Each year we will continue to host our awards dinner to pay tribute to our valued team members and mark significant company anniversaries. In 2019, we will be celebrating 35 years since the start of Automated Packaging Systems in the UK.
