Comcount BFW Counting Machine
High-speed, automated counter

×

Comcount BFW Counting Machines are capable of counting and batching at speeds up to 2,000 packs per hour. This efficient automatic counting machine offers high-accuracy for applications such as hardware, fasteners, plastics and electrical products. The unit can detect products from 1mm in width, 3mm to 75mm in length and up to 50mm in height, depending upon model.

When used in conjunction with the Autobag AB 180™ bagging system, a bulk supply of product is driven to a single-flow that is automatically counted and batched to a pre-set quantity. The individual batch of product is then funnelled to a pre-opened polyethylene bag, sealed and dispensed, while another bag is presented for loading.

The BFW is fitted with optical counting and weighing facilities in one integrated unit which allows the machine to cover a wider range of applications than possible with a conventional counting machine.  The integral weigh check and reject system can be utilised to detect and reject any out of tolerance batches ensuring only correct counts are bagged.

Siemens control system with touch screen display enable simple, fast and reliable integration of the BFW Counting Machine to Autobag bagging machines and Maximizer conveyor. The operator-friendly touch screen also provides access to job set-up and recall, on-board system diagnostics and real-time productivity data. The system is available with multiple bowl configurations, allowing the flexibility to run different part variations.

Using system-matched Autobag pre-opened bags-on-a-roll, the Comcount BFW Counting Machine offers a fast and effective counting and packing solution.
