Automated Packaging Systems manufactures high speed thermal transfer imprinters designed for easy integration with Autobag® and SidePouch™ baggers and bag packaging systems. These imprinters eliminate the need for a separate label printing operation by printing directly on the poly bag during the bagging process saving both labour and cost.

Our thermal transfer printers use genuine AutoLabel™ ribbons for optimum printing of high resolution graphics, bar codes, alphanumeric text and custom logos.

This thermal transfer printer integrates with the company’s line of high-speed baggers for a turnkey Print-n-Pack™ operation. The printer will store logos, graphic designs, and file data for instant changeovers. Network capabilities include serial and parallel ports for USB, Ethernet and AS-400 connections.
 
  • Prints up to 80 bags per minute.
  • Prints 30 cms per second at 203 dpi.
  • Supports virtually all bar code formats.

This inline thermal transfer printing system offers exceptional versatility by printing on two sides of a plastic poly bag at the same time. The flexible design also enables two-colour, inline label printing on one side of the bag. The Prism integrates with the company's line of high-speed bagger and bag packaging systems.
