For applications requiring a wide bagging capability, the AB 180 OneStep integrates the successful Autobag AB 180 Wide Bagger and PI 412c Imprinter platforms to provide an inline, 1:1 ‘Print-n-Pack’ system. To meet market demand the new AB 180 OneStep has been developed to provide the same high productivity, high speed, and fully automatic functionality, but is ideal for operations that require a standard size bagging facility.
Both the AB 180 OneStep and AB 255 OneStep bagging machines transfer information from the customer’s database, efficiently imprinting shipping labels directly onto the bag, prior to fulfilment. The printed, loaded bag is then sealed and detached for a fast and accurate print, pack and ship operation. Operating at speeds up to 30 bags per minute, the OneStep seamlessly integrates with customers existing shipping applications.
Each system can be integrated with the latest ERP and shipping software applications, printing most of the popular shipping label formats. The need for a separate labelling operation is completely eliminated because high resolution text, graphics and bar codes are applied direct to bags in sizes from 50mm to 279mm wide and 140mm to 635mm long.
Other products also being showcased at TOTAL include the new FAS Sprint bagger for the food sector, the flagship print and pack bagging systems and the AirPouch void filling system. To see these products in action please visit Automated Packaging Systems on stand 4626 at TOTAL 2007.
